Did you have implantation bleeding?

I feel like I’ve seen before that implant bleeding is uncommon, and yet I feel like every other post I read is asking whether or not a wipe is implantation! I’m 4 days out from AF and I’m still on the fence if she’s coming or not. Been pretty nervous to test and I’m starting to feel like unless I wipe and it’s pink I’m just going to be out.

Fun fact: implantation bleeding is a myth. 
The physical action of implantation happens on too small of a scale to be the cause of visible vaginal bleeding. 
“Implantation bleeding” (IB) is a misnomer - it’s a generalized term used to describe ANY bleeding in early pregnancy. Spotting is normal in early pregnancy due to fluctuating hormone levels. It has nothing to do with implantation. Spotting can occur anytime after ovulation in both pregnancy and non-pregnancy cycles. We call it IB after we know a woman is pregnant.
Bleeding is not a sign of pregnancy ever. While spotting is relatively common (about 15% of pregnancies), any bleeding in pregnancy should prompt a call to your doctor. Statistically, bleeding in your luteal phase (time between ovulation and a period) is more likely to result in a period, not pregnancy.

Most of the women on here who claimed to have had implantation bleeding most likely had ovulation spotting or early pregnancy spotting and automatically assume it was implantation bleeding.
