If you are using the app it’s only a guess apps can’t say when you are ovulating. You need to be confirming ovulation with opks and bbt and cm. if I went by apps I would miss ovulation by 5 days

If this is your  first month or two trying and bd the week of your ovulation and you have pretty spot in periods than you will be fine. If you have no luck then you can add ovulation kits and bbt if you feel its necessary.  To me that is a lot of extra and would drive me crazy. So i track cm and bd the week of and a few days after
