Confused about the cervix!

Can someone tell me more about what come be happening?

My period is due tomorrow! I’ve been TTC not long like 4 months. I’m always checking my cervix and my temperature. My cervix is SUPER high I can barely touch it with my finger, I think it’s firm and I’m not sure if it open or close since I can’t reach. My temperature last month was 98 before period. But this month my temperature is all the way to 99.1.
