HELP!!!! Implantation cramping is a thing, but severe pain???
Some background first:
We just started TTC in November and this month was the first month I started using the
OPKs. This was my first result on December 10th/CD13 (one shade lighter than positive) but everyday since then the OPKs were very obviously negative until I stopped taking them because they were screwing up Glow’s data (which initially predicted ovulation to be on December 14th) and I decided to just forget about this month and start again in January because I was annoyed and discouraged thinking I didn’t ovulate this month especially since I never observed any EWCM.
Fast forward...Christmas night I started getting abdominal pain/cramping as well as some back pain and it continued until the 29th. The severity varied from light twinges to pain so bad I’d wake up. From the quick research I did, implantation cramps are mild to moderate. It felt similar to my period pain, but normally my period pain is mostly in my back and depending on how much sugar I had during the week prior and if I’m on top of taking my hormone balancing supplements, the pain is minimal to debilitating. My period was supposed to start on December 30th and I will often times get some pain a couple days before my period starts to signify its coming but not nearly a week before and not pain that severe.
I’m only one day late, which isn’t too unusual since I’ve been 2 or 3 days late before (and before I knew my hormones were out of whack, I had a some sporadic months of no period), but I’m concerned this time because of the weird cramping and some of the research I did earlier mentioned it could be an early miscarriage and I don’t know if it’s too early to take a pregnancy test or not...since we started TTC I have been on top of taking my hormone supplements.
I’m just so overwhelmed and confused now I don’t know what anything means anymore 😩Thoughts??? TIA 😊
I DO NOT have endometriosis or PCOS. I had that checked out a few years back because my period pain is so severe and my flow is very heavy the first day. My uterus is tilted (thanks genetics) and my hormones are out of balance unless I take my supplements.
