Bad relationship with in laws?

Question

Does anyone have a bad relationship with their in laws? My in laws never showed they cared for me and I can tell they don’t like me. But my husband no matter what they do can’t see the bad in them. He thinks just cause they are good to him it doesn’t matter. He’s talking about that me and my son don’t have to see them but he will continue to see them. I know if my family were to treat my husband wrong or act rude to him I’d talk to them and get mad but it seems like he doesnt care if they don’t care about me.

If your husband won’t have your back then you need to speak up for yourself. When I started speaking up and doing things my ways my fiancé’s parents didn’t like that. I’ve told my fiancé that if it wasn’t going to change with him having my back then we can part ways. 
Now I do try to get him to call his parents so they can see our son. Also so they don’t think I’m the one keeping my son from them. They’ve called me controlling which is laughable cause their son is his own person😂. They can’t blame me just because their son doesn’t want to go see them or call them. That’s an issue they need to fix someday.

I didnt have a bad relationship eith my inlaws until my daughter came along. Now with another on the way my relationship with my MIL and my husbands stepfather is out the window. My husband is so afraid of conflict and confrontation that he is constantly trying to keep the peace because she is always playing the victim for everything. My final straw was her threatening to not come see our kids. If he wants to go see them thats fine but i will not. My relationship with my FIL though? Rocky but mendable and we are working towards that.

What have they done to you? Are there specific things you have an issue with?
I dont particularly get along with most of my inlaws. They dont seem to care for me. Its just a hands off relationship. But I don't see a reason for my husband to cut them off or anything. I dont need them to be my friends.

I had a bad relationship with my mil for a bit but my husband always had my back and eventually had to say something to her. I wouldn’t have been able to tolerate it if he wasn’t on my side.
