How many naps a day is baby on?

Baby (nearly 14 months) has been wide awake for the morning nap 3 days in a row but according to all information online, they are meant to be on 2 naps until 18m?

Our pediatrician said at twelve month checkup that many go down to one nap soon after bday but some are more like 15-18 months before they drop one. We’ll be fourteen months in a few days and definitely need two everyday.

My firstborn dropped her morning nap at 15 months. My Nov baby is still on 2 naps but I’m guessing she’ll drop the morning nap earlier than my first daughter, she’s already sleeping for less time in the morning so I’m guessing she’s getting ready to drop it. She still falls asleep almost immediately but only sleeps 45min instead of 90min now. I’m going to keep putting her down until she stops actually sleeping during the nap.

I heard 15 months as the average age to drop to one nap. Since she’s turned one there have been 1 nap days but most of the time we try to stick to 2 naps because we’ve noticed it’s still better for her.

I put 1 but it really depends on how long the first nap is. If he takes a good nap, he will get one. If his first nap sucks, it will most likely be 2. I try to have a schedule but if he is sleepy, I let him sleep.

13 1/2 months and just starting to transition to 1 nap. Her 2nd nap was pushing bedtime towards 9/10pm and some days she would only lay down for 10 mins at the 2nd nap so we decided it was time.

We’re 14 months old and we do one nap. We were on 2 naps and I hated the schedule...wake at 615, bed wasn’t til 8 and the naps were only an hour in the morning and 30 mins in the afternoon. We dropped the nap because her second nap wouldn’t line up with when I pick her up from the babysitter. I’m so glad we made the switch!
