The best feeling about being a surrogate
My brother and his husband asked me to be their surrogate a year ago. It was pretty shocking, but I love him so much and he's been there for me through everything so I figured I could sacrifice 9 months of my life. I'll be honest... It seemed like my brother's husband was more on board than he was. My brother was extremely nervous about becoming a father and we had talks about whether he felt it was right and he started having panic attacks during my pregnancy. After I gave birth to my niece, my brother held her and he started bawling saying "She's my baby! And I love her so much!" My pregnancy as a surrogate was super hard. I was on bed rest at one point. Birth was hard too. Tore to my ass. But seeing my brother cry like that. I knew it was worth it. I made a happy family. Honestly I feel like I did the easy part because raising a GIRL with my brothers genes. My brother was a little terror! Good luck to them, lmao. But for all realness I'm happy I was a surrogate.
