Taking belly piercing out?

I’m 27 and have had my belly ring for 10 years, I’m so used to it. However I’m almost 19 weeks pregnant and notice my belly button is starting to change which is in turn making my belly button ring position change. I can’t decide if I should just bite the bullet and take it out, or wait. I’m not having any pain or discomfort from it but my husband keeps saying “honey I don’t know why you don’t just go ahead and take it out, you’re gonna have to eventually anyways.” What did you all do/decide?
