Baby won’t sleep in bedside crib

My little one is turning 2 months tomorrow. For the boat 6 weeks, he slept in a rock and play. We transitioned him to a bedside crib (which he slept in the first few weeks but he was so tiny in there) and now, he will NOT stay asleep in it.

He falls asleep in our arms but the moment he wakes up, usually after 20-30 min, he won’t go back to sleep. We’ve got him in a sleep sack/swaddle (arms out because he sucks his fingers) but I am quite sure he misses the closeness/snugness of the pack and play.

I saw a pillow for cribs that cushions babies/supports their head, but does anyone have any suggestions?

It’s day 2... we started yesterday AM — all naps and bedtime and again today for all naps.

I’ve got a tired baby and a very tired mama!!
