Should I try breastfeeding with my second?

My first pregnancy I had no support what so ever me and my partner broke up I was so alone I didn’t even consider breast feeding as I still lived with my parents and didn’t want to make them uncomfortable now I have my own home an amazing supportive partner and he was breast fed and i know he would help me on this journey but I feel guilty that I didn’t with my first born could this effect my relationship between my kids?

That would be a weird thing for kids to argue about...
I have 3 siblings, my brother, sister and I were only breastfed for 1-3 months while my youngest brother was breastfed for almost 2 years. We could care less.
We’re all healthy.

My mother formula fed all her kids except me (for a short period of time) with 7 kids. I'm the youngest. Apparently once my oldest brother asked my oldest sister what my mom was doing with me in the other room and when she told him he looked horrified and said "I hope you never did that with ME!" haha

No kid knows how they were fed. They don't have that memory, so kids will not care about it if you don't make it a big thing for them.

I don't think they care. My mom has 4 kids and breastfed 2 for a little bit, started out formula fed the other 2. None of us care

Why would breastfeeding when living with your parents make them uncomfortable? When my mom comes over I breastfeed in front of her all the time, its not weird, your using your breast for their intended purpose.

My husband was formula fed, his younger sister was breastfed. It isn’t something they will fight over! My husband didn’t even know whether or not he was or she was 🤣. Even though he was like 5 when she was born! You were not in the place to do it with your first and that’s ok! Breastfeeding can be hard, and I understand feeling uncomfortable doing it around family. I say try with your second! Breastfeeding has many challenges but also makes many things a lot easier! Especially night time feedings!

Um no. My first knows she was formula fed for the most part and she didn’t say anything when I was breastfeeding my second. I ended up switching to formula this go around too and my daughter (5) actually told me last night when she has kids she’s going to keep breastfeeding them lol! She walked around breastfeeding her doll for a few weeks after watching me feed her sister lol your kids aren’t going to care how you fed them as long as they’re fed.
