Post period bloody mucus

My period ended on the 2nd of January. I had a 4 day period.

I’ve had hormone imbalance issues before my first and only pregnancy and baby is 2.5 years old now. Haven’t done a pcos screening yet post pregnancy. I am also ttc at the moment.

Now after my period ended this month, sometimes I felt like there was discharge but when I checked there wasn’t Anything

So when I inserted my fingers in to the vagina and checked there was really stretchy mucus and there were bloody tissue like strands in it too.

Should I go and hv a checkup at the doctors ?

What could it be ? Worried
