Nursing Mamas!

An

Ok so it’s been a while since I last nursed my kids (youngest is 4yo). My sister just had a baby 2 weeks ago and her milk is coming in WONDERFULLY! I’m not jealous or hurt by any means but I’m so shocked to see how much milk she is producing. She will nurse and still pump 5+ ounces. When I had my kids, I’d be lucky to pump 2 ounces COMBINED. I tried viewing pictures and videos. I tried smelling their clothes. I tried pumping one breast while nursing the other but I COULD NOT for the life of me pump milk. I could nurse completely fine. At times it would sound like the let down was faster than they could swallow. I tried so many teas and foods that were supposed to help produce milk and NOTHING did the trick. I could only produce milk (or should I say release it) when they were on my breast nursing. Has this happened to anyone? What did you do that helped? I don’t plan on having a baby just yet but I’d like to be prepared if I do. TIA✨
