Weird, new pregnancy symptom?

Abigail

I’m 32 weeks today with a baby boy. My pregnancy is considered high risk due to previously losses as well as an elevated AFP (which turned up nothing, thankfully).

Over the last week, I get this feeling in my head I can only compare to someone squeezing the sides of my neck. I can still breathe, but I feel like blood flow is cut off. My head gets this pressure which causes dizziness and I can feel my heartbeat in it, though it isn’t painful. However, it does make me feel like I’m going to pass out and causes my face to flush. No matter what position I’m in, sitting up, laying on either of my sides, it just randomly happens. My heart also starts racing, I’ve seen it elevate (I have a smart watch) to 140BPM.

I see my OB tomorrow and will discuss it with her but none of my other pregnant/previously pregnant friends have experienced this and I wanted to see if anyone else has. Could this be a sign of high BP/preeclampsia?
