Yeast infection ?

So I had an issue down there. I’ve never had anything wrong before so it was new to me. The vaginal opening was bright red and irritated. Very very dry. I had my best friend look at it and she seen white clumps and said it could be a yeast infection and no discharge due to clumping. Well she had me take a boric acid pill down there. And still not a lot of discharge. I don’t feel as itchy or dry but very uncomfortable feeling. The feeling of a thong riding up my coochie but it’s not typa feeling. If that makes sense😂. I can’t go to a gyno until I’m 18 cause they will not let me in until I’m 18. :/
