Does anxiety/depression make your body run down?
I am hoping someone can relate or give me an answer to this. I’ve struggled with postpartum anxiety and now depression since my son was 2 months old. He’s now 19 months old. My anxiety & depression comes out mostly physically, with symptoms such as weakness/fatigue, sometimes dizziness. I have good days and bad days. However, I’ve noticed that if I don’t get enough sleep, am on my period, or get sick, I feel wayyy worse than I would’ve normally before I had my baby. I feel so run down and awful. Does depression/anxiety make your body run down to the point of it’s harder to deal with sickness, lack of sleep, period fatigue, etc? Would love some insight on this. Thanks!
