Why is this happening??!!!

So I started spotting or having a light period I’m not really sure but it started on the third and it’s still going on till now (Jan,14).

It comes about twice a day, and it’s about the amount of blood you have when you’re at you last couple days of your period. It’s been like this since jan,3

The weird thing is when I thought I ended my ‘period’ and had sex it’s like it opened up that cavern and everything came out like my normal period. It’s was a very bloody mess...

I had my birth control implant put in on dec 1st so I just completes a full month and a half ish, could this be what’s making my period act up?

Why is it lasting so long and how can I make it pass more quickly?
