Night terrors?

My sonq,zsq lately has been yelling, screaming, and crying in his sleep. Sometimes he's not even awake when I check on him but he's yelling "no" or "mama/dada". Anyone else dealing with this- is it a phase? Is there something I can do to prevent it? Is it my pregnancy? He seems fine during the day, it's only a few hours after he falls asleep and an hour or so before he wakes up.

Yes! My son two nights in a row woke up screaming “no, no! Not that one!” Which is what he says when he’s awake and he wants me to change the TV to a different show. Maybe I picked a really bad episode in his dream.

Yep. My daughter will suddenly start crying I  the middle of the night, and when I go into soothe her, it doesn't seem like she's even actually awake. I just decided I would wait a little longer before going in, and last night, she just stopped after 30 seconds and was totally fine. 🤷‍♀️ I'm planning to ask the pediatrician about it at her two-year appointment. It started maybe a month or two ago.
