Our first pregnancy ended in March with a miscarriage at 8 weeks. This time around, I’ve been riddled with anxiety. Each twinge of pain, absent symptom causes me to spiral.

Yesterday I had our first ultrasound and they found baby abdominally with a heart rate of 138. I feel like that this is what I needed to finally let go of the fear that’s been ruining this experience. We are almost to the 8 week mark and I know it’ll be another deep breath when we get there. Thinking of all of you who are in need of that hope and reassurance, and I pray you get it soon too.
