My son's sitter tested positive for covid
I'm so worried that I don't know what to do. I have a 1.9 year old toddler and I'm 22 weeks pregnant. I wfh full time as well, but since my job is very demanding, I needed someone to watch my son while I work. She also lives with us so she has not been going out and exposed to people we haven't, but she had to go to her home town for her dad's funeral and came back last week. She most likely got infected there. Since she came back she hasn't left our house other than taking my son on walks around the neighborhood. She is stable thankfully with no serious symptoms. We are already isolating from her, which is easy since she has a room outside our main house. She started having symptoms 2 days ago and did not say anything or keep any distance from my son or us, which is messed up honestly. We only found out because legally she had to be tested on the 1st and 8th day after entering our city. Since we have been in close contact with her we also need to isolate at home for 2 weeks. I don't know how I'm going to handle keeping my toddler sane indoors for 2 weeks while being pregnant, working full time and doing house work. I don't know if we are infected or not, and we will get tested first thing in the morning, then again in 8 days, but I feel so horrible. I feel guilty and I hope we have not infected anyone if we are positive. We have not been going out other than for necessities and always wear masks in public, but we have close family in our bubble who we would see often.
