He said I irritate him

Lately my boyfriend/child’s father is extremely moody. The slightest things set him off. Today he told me I irritate him and I asked him on a scale from 1 to 10 and he said and 8..I have been planning his 30th birthday for a few weeks and can’t get my money back so I will go through with the party however I am choosing not to call him anymore if he wants to call to speak to our son no problem. Am I wrong for this . I don’t understand why would you be with someone who irritates you. I have been feeling unloved for awhile and I guess now it makes sense. What would you ladies do? I’m so use to calling him when we have fall outs etc but I guess hearing what he said makes me feel different.

Sb: he always thinks I’m being sarcastic when I’m really not , I don’t need his family telling me what’s wrong with my child. Example my son is currently sick he had a fever then he broke out. I took him to the doctor the doctor said that he had a virus not covid. His mom says it’s the detergent I used and his trying to tell me how to wash clothes. And that I better listen to his mom. Smh
