Should I be buying baby stuff rn?

I'm a day away from 7 weeks pregnant and i was wondering is it too early to be buying baby stuff? I'm only looking at getting a crib and bassinet not a whole shopping spree just the basics but is it too soon for that?

As a mom of 2 you would think I’d be all over this but honestly because there is a chance of miscarriage I wait until after the 12 week mark but if you feel good about it go for it!!

Why not wait for a registry! I didnt buy most my items and I originally wasnt going to do a registry but people kept asking if I had one set up or asking what I needed. Plus buying used for most baby stuff was a real money saver too, or getting hand me downs from friends. I didnt start buying until the 3rd trimester. 😋

So me and my husband have a “tradition” when we find out we’re pregnant we get 1 unisex outfit for the baby to wear at the hospital the first day.. then when we dind out the gender we buy the second day outfit ❤️ I say so!

I miscarried at 8 weeks and I had just ordered a bunch of stuff off of amazon. The week of my miscarriage I was receiving all this baby stuff 😫 but also, I’m trying again so I can still use all of this stuff. If I were I’d buy small things, that won’t expire. Just in case. That way if something were to happen you can store them away to use later on if that may be your path.

I’m 30w with our first and just barely buying her stuff....I wish I would’ve started sooner but I’m afraid of something going wrong and having to return a bunch of baby stuff I won’t get to use 🥺

I’m personally too nervous because I miscarried at 7 weeks, I did however sign up for free baby registry boxes before I miscarried so I do have onesies, bottles, pacifiers and other little baby things
