Tdap shot from pharmacy?

I’m 31 weeks and my doctor said I can get the tdap shot now. My doctors office doesn’t do them anymore so she said i can get it at Walgreens or cvs. I thought it was weird they don’t do it there. Did anyone get their shot from a pharmacy rather than their doctors office?

I got mine from my doctor but I know people who had to get it elsewhere. At least people can’t tell you your doctor only wants you to get the vaccine so he or she can get the money from it 🙄.

It just depends on the OB and office. My ob office is located within a hospital so they can do everything there but my primary doctor doesn’t even have a lab area in there office so you can’t get a shot or even a blood draw there. I wouldn’t say it’s weird but its def inconvenient

Weird, the OBs here don’t do it, I have to see my family doctor to get it. Guess it depends where your at and your doctor!

My OB does them, but my primary care doesn't. I was kind of surprised but when I asked my primary care he gave the same advice, to go to a CVS or Walgreens.
