Ultrasounds during lockdowns?

How does your hospital operate during a lockdown? My city just went under a light lockdown (restaurants, gyms etc are shutting down). I’m wondering if my ultrasound tomorrow will still be happening? Surely this is “essential” but I’ve heard of other places not allowing these types of appointments during lockdowns! This is my first scan too, 8 weeks 🥺

My city has been a hotspot for a while. They are still doing ultrasounds and all that. Some hospitals just dont allow visitors, even the dads

Everyone will be different, but here in Hawaii when we were having multiple lockdowns, they would only allow ultrasound and high risk in person appointments. They were closed to only the mother(and any small children under 10).

Ultrasounds are still happening here but no support/visitors are allowed. I just had my anatomy scan but my hubby wasn’t allowed there. Sucked but they are still doing ultrasounds.

Call your office to be sure of their protocol. For us, ultrasounds are still happening, and you can bring one support person, but otherwise you have to come alone to appointments.
