What birth control is best?

So ladies, I need your suggestions on this.
Let me just say that 4 years ago I got a depo shot and it messed up my hormones very badly and I had to force my period to come. Then it took us many years to conceive. Now I’m 4 weeks postpartum and starting to think of a good birth control that would not mess with my hormones as I’m still taking synthroid medicine to keep my hormones stable. I really want another baby as soon as I can, maybe in a couple of months. 
Most birth control pills make my blood pressure high.
My husband won’t accept the idea of condoms.
I guess the IUD is my last choice but I’m not sure if it’s worth putting it in for a few months or a year.

I was on Nuvarong for about 7 years. I still received normal menstrual cycles every 28 days and I recommend it. I considered this time go round (with 5 kids) to do it again, or IUD, or tubal ligation..... 
I’m set in stone on the tube removal.

If you’re wanting to conceive in the next few months I wouldn’t bother getting on any birth control because it can take a cycle or two before you regulate again but you could always bring it up to your doctor! You can get it removed at any time but I just don’t see the point if you’ll remove in a few months. I have the bar in my arm and I love love it! I don’t even have a period which for me is amazing because I’ve struggled with horrible periods since I first got my period. I wish I had known about the bar years ago.

I wouldn't get the iud if you're wanting to take it out soon. And the iud messed my hormones up! Not to mention often times you might not fall pregnant right away after having it. I had it in for a year and it took 7 months of trying after I got it out. I would take my chances with pulling out if I were you lol.

I got the mirena IUD for a year. I think it was worth it because I could breastfeed and stay baby free. However if you will want it out in less than a year, it may not be worth it. It can cause spotting for 4-6 months which is annoying. But it didnt cause me any bad side effects. We conceived 5 months after removal. Maybe consider IUD, a different form of birth control pill with different ingredients, or tell your husband to get over it and wear condoms. Last but not least, there is the pull out method. A chart at my OBs office said its 80% effective (so a 1 in 5 chance of pregnancy) but only if you do it correctly. You cant let him reenter after sex even if he washes it off because sperm can stay in the shaft, but its technically a hormone free option. If you dont mind possibly getting prego sooner than expected, then its an option.
