Good people of the world

Omg.

I work full nights. So it's like 2:30am where I am.

And I accidentally called the wrong number. So this person does what every person does when someone calls them out of their sleep, he declines the call, I'm thinking the person I'm calling is probably busy or on the toilet or something (still completely oblivious) so I call his colleague.

When I finish my call with his colleague, the person I called the first time called back, so now I realise that I've called the wrong person but the person also speaks french, so I apologize, and I hear them mumbling but I understand nothing they say, I just wanted to stop wasting their nightrest time, so I apologized in french and hung up.

So I then called the person I tried to call the first time and while I'm calling the person I called accidentally called back and since my number wasn't available so it got transferred to my male colleague who is a native french speaker, and he told me the person asked if we were ok and if there was a problem, if maybe he needed to call the police, being genuinely concerned (obviously because the first time he talked to a girl who sounded lost because I don't speak french 🤣 and then he called back and came in contact with a male..?)

I thought it was kind of him to being called out of his bed by strangers and still attempted to do all in their power to help in case we needed it.
