Question

I will be 17 weeks on Saturday so I guess there is another blood test to check on baby’s health during second trimester? Have anybody done the test? I only knew about the nipt test. It was done when I was 13 weeks baby is completely normal.
What kind of test is it in the second trimester? I just didn’t ask many questions. If your baby got tested in the second trimester let me know how it went.

My doctors do blood work every trimester to check for anything out of the ordinary. I forget exactly what they tested for

I had a blood test to test for the exact same stuff as the nipt test a few weeks after my nipt test. It was done at the same time as the nt scan. They said it was a formality that it was just done at the same time. Also because I already knew the results of the nipt test then it would be the same. So maybe that's the test they had you do?

I never had a blood test in the second trimester. Just the glucose test at 28 weeks.
