Is this normal for the birth control patch?

Hey! First time user of the patch. I put it on last night and woke up and it looked like this? The edge wasn't extremely flush but I pushed it back on and now it's stuck..?? I swear I made sure it was on tight last night lol. Hopefully someone can ease my mind lol.

It's on my left butt cheek (ignore the football stitches scar, that's from necrotizing fasciitis lol)

Totally normal! I used the patch for a few years and the ends peel off after a while but it’s not too crazy of a concern. I was taught during the summer to try and keep it in a spot that doesn’t get quite so sweaty. Also try to shower before putting it on to make sure you don’t have access oils chilling on the surface. 😊

I found personally that the best place for me is either my outer thigh or upper arm. Places that don’t like move or wiggle around quite as much.  I haven’t had anything like your picture happen since I switched to those locations
