Anyone else a planned c section?

I’m a bit nervous but know this is the best way to go for me based on awful delivery of my first baby.  
What are you doing to keep calm about it? And what are you doing to prepare? I’m 32 weeks and haven’t packed my bag yet!

I'm having a scheduled c section due to placenta previa, so far what has kept me calm is being informed about everything from how the surgery is performed to postpartum care of the incision site. I know for some researching and seeing pictures makes them nervous but for me it makes me feel prepared. I like knowing what's going to happen and what to expect, which makes me the worst person to see a new movie with.😅
My husband is also doing a lot of his own research so he can be informed too, and that definitely makes me feel better about it. He's had major surgery before and though it was for something else he has experience with long hospital stays and will be able to empathize with what I'm about to go through on some level. He's been so supportive.

Yes mine is planned. Honestly I try not to think about it, it gives me bad anxiety. I just kinda just gone cross the bridge when the times comes. I know what I’m expecting but I rather deal with it when I have too

Mines not planned yet but will be. I had one with my daughter in 2019. Do some research/ watch some videos but don't over think it. The weirdest part was not being able to feel my legs with the epidural/spinal block. Only felt pressure during the delivery, no pain. Speak up if you feel sick during, I did because my BP dropped and the anesthesiologist put an alcohol wipe under my nose and it instantly made me feel better. Honestly I remember it happening quickly and then boom my baby was out and crying and I got to actually hold her. 
High waist everything for the first couple weeks. I took a bunch of the mesh hospital undies home and then bought some actual high waist underwear for when I ran out. I have a bunch of sweats I can wear up a little higher and be comfortable too. The hospital gave me a compression wrap thing too so that also protected my scar with regular pants that I couldn't wear higher.
Get up and walk as soon as they let you but don't over do it right away either. Take your time and listen to your body. Hug a pillow into your stomach for coughing/laughing/sneezing.

I’m going to schedule mine on at my next dr appointment. I’ve been going back n forth between vbac or a repeat c for months. I’ve finally decided on a repeat c. I’ve got my bag somewhat ready just no clothes or snacks in it yet. I haven’t washed baby’s clothes yet so her bag isn’t ready either

I’ll be scheduling (hopefully!) on Tuesday. I’m not really worried because even though my first one was an emergency, my recovery went very well. I did have postpartum hemorrhage but that’s another story. I plan to pack my bag about mid-February since I should be delivering mid-March. Just try to focus on that baby you’ll be meeting and I think you’ll be ok! Good luck mama!

Mine is planned and so was my first. I had a great experience with it!! I liked knowing when he was coming and the whole experience was calm and easy going. I got a little nervous when I got in there but once they got started the doctors did a great job of talking me through it and telling me what was happening.

A C-section for me is still up in the air. Baby girl isn't turning. I am getting anxious because I had a great vaginal delivery with my toddler. I am nervous and trying to figure out how different I need to pack.

I’m having a planned c section. I’m supposed to be scheduled for 37 weeks. Waiting for the call to pick an official day.  I am packed and “ready”. But mentally I’m scared out of my mind.
