Has anyone used boric acid before they knew they were pregnant?

So I just missed my period and got a positive test, and have used boric acid throughout this whole last month. About once or twice a day last week and a couple times before that after sex. I’ve read that some holistic doctors approve, but most regular doctors say it’s super toxic to a fetus. I’m gonna avoid now that I know that, but has anyone been in this situation and the baby’s been ok?
