Doula ?

Hi guys ftm here 33 weeks. I am thinking about having a doula with COVID 19 going on and it being my and my boyfriends first baby I think it would be nice. No visitors in the hospital so my family won’t be there to encourage and help me. Not that my boyfriend is not capable but this is something new for both of us. He is a bit emotional when I scream or yell at him and I know I will be doing a lot of that through labor lol. I just want us to both be happy and calm and I think a doula would help. My only probably is I have less than 6 weeks I would like to meet my doula and have a feel for her energy before I have her around us. What are the pros and cons ? This will be through a program so it will be completely free and the hospital will allow the doula to come along as a health companion.
