Does anyone else believe babies can sense things?

I’m 5 weeks tomorrow and since finding out last Sunday, my daughter has now twice (second time being tonight) lifted my shirt and patted my stomach. Tonight she not only patted my stomach but leaned down and gave it a tiny peck. I’m clearly not showing since I’m so early. But the timing I find to be crazy because she has never done this before! Anyways, that’s my story I figured I’d share in hopes of others thinking babies can sense things.

Lol cute!  I swear my LO is having morning sickness for me 😭 he’s been refluxy, throwing up, and dry heaving.  I’m worried I’m passing hormones in my breastmilk that might be bothering him.  I’m going to give it a bit more time but I’m not sure what I’ll do if that’s it.

When I first found out, my daughter pointed at my stomach and said bebe (baby in Spanish). I’m thinking they can definitely sense it.

I’ll be 5 weeks Monday. For the last week and a half he’s been so clingy. Wants almost NOTHING to do with my husband and he was always his favorite person lol. 
I do wish he’d sense not to smash my boobs all the time though because OWWWW. 😂

Yes! I'm 18 weeks and since very very early, my son would pull up my shirt, rub my belly and say "hi baby". ❤

My (now) toddler had started pulling up my shirt to pat my belly and try to stick her snacks in my belly button all of a sudden over the summer and I thought it was just a quirky toddler thing at first but she would only do it to me. It started shortly before I missed my period and the next week we found out I was pregnant again. Currently almost 35 weeks (toddler is 16 months) and she cuddles my belly, pats the baby's knee when it nudges her, still tries to put food in my belly button, and says "hi" to my belly any time my shirt comes up. It's totally possible it's just a weird coincidence but I strongly believe that children can just sense things sometimes.

Does anyone else believe babies can sense things?
