Could this be our problem?

Question

When we first got our blood tests done for fertility checking my AMH levels were low. No big deal, apparently they fluctuate month to month.
I went for my scan today, doc reckons I'll ovulate over the weekend but he could see ONE follicle. It was big which is good, about 11mm but there was literally only the one.
Do you think that could be our problem? The doc didn't say anything about there only being one, I read there should be multiple.
*He said the follicle was a good size and also my lining was a good thickness (9mm). I am on CD11, we have to go back Monday.

What did the doctor say regarding the scan?  IMO, 11mm is small to be expecting ovulation in a day or two.      At this point in your cycle there should only be one measurable follicle but it’s usually closes to 15-18mm or larger a few days before ovulation.

Are you on clomid or femara to make multiple follicles grow at once? If not, than 1 dominant follicle is normal.  I agree that 11 is a bit too small to be expecting ovulation in a day or two. My successful cycle, I had an 18mm, 20mm and 22mm follicle right before ovulation, while taking femara. I did IUIs, femara and the trigger shot, and they never had me do the trigger shot (which forces ovulation) unless my follicles were at least 20mm.

Could this be our problem?
