Hair extensions for thin hair?

Just wondering if anyone who has thin hair has had hair extensions. 
Would you recommend them or not? Why or why not? 
Type recommendations?

Answer

I used Luxy Hair clip in extensions. They looked great and matched my hair color perfectly. My only issue is that they were styled into my hair for my wedding and whatever the lady did to my hair kinda messed it up. It was so scraggly afterwards I ended up just deciding to get a bob cut. This is mainly because I was too lazy to do the extra work of deep conditioning two to three times a week to sort out whatever the hair stylist did.

This is easy install and no hair damage. Microlinks would be extremely harsh.
