Should I Sue?

So my ex slept with a plethora of women while we were together and gave me chlamydia which then gave me a UTI which infected my kidneys and proceeded to infect my bloodstream which made me sepsis and was almost fatal. I missed a week of work and have a 3k dollar medical bill because of it he half assed apologized and then continued to cheat until we ended the relationship should I sue for pain and suffering or emotional distress?

Update: We got tested before we started having unprotected sex. We were together for a year and a half. He started going raw in randoms and yes I have proof that he was aware he had it and didn’t disclose it to me until I found out I had it
