It doesn't bother them at all, they will grow out of it.

I always nursed my little guy and it cleared them up.  Their diaphragm just needs time to mature, it doesn’t hurt or bother them xx

My LO would feed and then we would burp and then drift off to a blissful sleep.......then the hiccups came. Every. Single. Time. For like 4 months. Uggghhhhhh. The worst. The Mount of sleep we lost due to the hiccups cant even be measured.
