What’s the longest someone has gone with a UTI, known or unknown?

I had recurring UTIs for a couple of years but the second I though “maybe this is the beginning of a UTI?” The pain would be excruciating within the hour. I had a coworker at the time who had a silent UTI for weeks. I didn’t even know that was possible!! She had zero symptoms of a UTI but just felt generally crappy. Went to the doctor and had elevated white blood cell count. Got tested for a bunch of things before finally finding the UTI. Not sure exactly how long this whole thing went on but definitely more than a couple of weeks.

I once suffered for two weeks before going to a doctor. I worked for a guy who freaked out if I took time off (ironically, a doctor himself) and I tried every single home remedy under the sun because I just was not granted the time and doctors here charge double rates for after hours (IE after 17:00 and weekends).

Most of last year... I had an infection, was diagnosed in February, was given antibiotics, got symptoms again, diagnosed infection, given antibiotics...Repeat ad nauseum...
Up until I became so unwell, had been on so many antibiotics, the GP sent me to A&E in September.
A&E gave me MORE antibiotics, this time IV as well as Tablets.
Two days later, got a phone call from A&E to say that my "infection" was actually antibiotic resistant, and they only had 2 treatments left that may work against it.
The world collapsed with Covid, I got ESBL (Extended Spectrum Beta Lactamase), which literally eats most antibiotics for breakfast. 
We had to completely stop BBT-ing, no sex for So. BLOODY. Long!!!, and finished my last set in early December.
No pain on urination, no burning, just constantly wanting to go, a temperature of over 37.8°c  with paracetamol, and my bladder aching.
My GP was brilliant, each time I came back with the same symptoms, they listened, took a sample, and communicated. 
It wasn't until the bacteria was not only identified, but then cultured until they could check its resistance, that anyone saw. Even then I still had to have 3 lots of week-long courses of antibiotics.

A week. I tried to manage it myself until I got a fever and decided to go to urgent care after work. By the time I got to urgent care they almost refused to see me, they wanted to tranport me to the hospital as the infection had spread to my kidney.

A few years ago i had an uti. I didnt know it was an uti at the time. But i had symptoms for about 6 weeks. 
First 2-3 weeks i had back pain just thought id twisted it somehow. 
3-6 weeks i only ate cereal as couldnt stomach anything else, was vomiting and cold/hot chills, shivering all time.
It had affected my kidney.
