Necessary Items?

Hey!
I am still TTC, so this is in a very hopeful scenario.
I’ve been looking at Nursery and Baby Necessities to calculate costs to see if we are financially ready, which it seems we are.
What are some necessary things you think most people forget?

For me it was formula and diapers. I to made a list of everything I wanted so I knew the cost of everything. Once I received my positive we brought everything. Formula and diapers add up very fast.

Honestly our biggest expenses (we will go with 1st year of life to simplify) was hospital bill from delivery. Then baby supply wise carseat, stroller, carrier-about a 1000 total there but that could be cut down a lot as we bought nicer brands. But biggest by far is diapers since you go through so many diapers...especially with the newborns. Diaper costs add up and I never even wanted to tally total diaper cost lol. But a lot depends on insurance, what brands you want, and where you live.
