My 23 year old daughter is in a mental hospital right now for a suicide attempt. I've been calling to check up on her and she told me her roommate is a man. She said the reason is because since she's a lesbian they didn't want to put her in a room with other women. So they roomed her with a gay man. I didn't know they could do that and it makes me super uncomfortable. I asked how she felt about that and she said he's one of the more sane people so she's okay with it. Plus she had one women threaten to burn her alive so she's wanting to stay around people who are more sane. Idk the man so im not trying to judge him. I'm just worried for her. I also don't understand why just because they are both gay they can't be in rooms with the same sex. If workers are doing their job nothing sexaul would be happening.
