My bf is mad at me over not paying $900 for him

My boyfriend is mad at me because he wanted to do this class and asked me for $900 and that he would pay me back the next few days. And I was like trying to figure out like why he was asking me and then said he’ll ask his boss to do it. And I was like oh did he get it? And he’s like yeah. And I’m like okay good do you feel better now?And he said I never ask you to help me. I guess implying I should’ve done it?? Like it’s $900?? It’s not $100 or something. I get you were gunna pay me back but Like am I wrong?

Edit: so it’s been a few hours and I tried to see if he was still mad and he said he was aggravated because money is tight and he never asks me for help and the one time he does I don’t help him.
