CBFM vs stick peak help

I have been using sticks for several months and have historically seen a much darker stick the day before my peak. My ovulation day is kind of all over the place since stopping BC in July (ovulated day 12, 33, 25 in the 3 cycles I’ve had).

Last month I also started using the clear blue fertility monitor which gave me 16 high before 2 peak days. I know this can happen the first month so I still used my standard sticks too. The peak day lined up and I saw a darker stick as well as peak on the monitor. I ended up pregnant, but resulted in a chemical pregnancy.

Today (CD25) my monitor said peak (no high, went from low to peak which I know can happen) and my FMU stick test was dark but not a “peak dark” compared to what I normally see. Took another this afternoon and it was light.

Would you trust the monitor and assume the surge has ended, today is peak day and I would ovulate tomorrow then?
