Bad feta cheese affect my health during pregnancy??

I cooked pasta and used feta cheese in it.. the recent trend lol.. but after I put my dish for cooking I found a weird smell in the feta cheese.. I think it’s gone bad.. though it was in brine .. I don’t know if I should eat it .. I am scared cause I am pregnant too .. can anybody tell me if it’s ok ? Cz I cooked it at 400F please

Was the feta package open for several days or past it’s due date? If not it’s probably fine- feta sometimes has a smell. Even if it a little off if it was cooked to a high temperature any nasties that could harm your baby would have been killed of, just might not taste very good.

It probably smells weird or tastes weird because you’re pregnant. I ate skittles today and they tasted weird. Pregnancy just ruins things sometimes. 400* is totally hot enough to kill anything anyways.

If it wasn't discolored or green or moldy, then it's probably not bad. But if you're worried, then don't eat it.
Cheese in general takes a lot to spoil. Most of the cheese you buy in stores is already a year or 2 old by the time it gets into your home. Most people don't know that

I think it just smells like that when it’s heated. I never heat it. It will mold if bad. The salt in the brine keeps bacteria from growing.
