Should I cut my hair? Would I look okay with it short?

Question

So! I’m in the military and have to wear my hair in a bun every day, it’s a pain to do and it’s hard to not damage my hair when it’s up that tight all the time. I’m thinking about cutting my hair but I’m not sure how short to go. I need *honest* opinions about what would look good or bad for me! I’m including pictures of myself so you can see face shape, hair type and length etc.

Military here! 🙋🏼‍♀️ you and I have similar face structures, and I had a pixie and currently have a short chin length bob. I loved both! Both looked great and I got a ton of compliments on the pixie. The key with that one is to not go too short in the top front, leave a little in the bangs so you can still pin them back for PT. If you can’t pin them, it gets a little sweaty and annoying in the forehead. Never had any issues with a “fadish style”.
I loved my pixie but it was pretty high maintenance (just going in monthly for haircuts to not get a mullet) so I went to a blunt chin length bob, which has worked out great for me. Super low maintenance other than straightening when it’s frizzy. Can still pull the top back in a half pony for PT. A little annoying with a patrol cap if you don’t like tucking your hair behind your ears but that’s my only critique.
Cut your hair, girl! You’ll look great in either style and it’s so liberating to not have to bun-up every day!
