Regular period after medroxyprogesterone(provera)

I had a miscarriage in Dec 2020 at 7 weeks. I did a D&C the 12 of Dec. On Dec 28 I went to do my 2 weeks post procedure check up and was informed by the doc (not my original doctor) that she sees possible signs of retained tissue. I did a pregnancy test and it was also negative. She prescribed medroxyprogesterone (provera) 10 mg for 10 days. Couple days after finishing taking pills I started getting cramps. I called the doctors office and was informed by my original doctor that there was no retained tissue. I got my period 1 week and two days after.

I dont think I ovulate after my period. I used ovulation test strips throughout and they were all negative. I am 4 days late and I did 2 pregnancy test and they are all negative. Have any one every use provera and was late and got there period a week after?.
