Sleeping solo

Does anyone have any tips on how to get my 11.5 month old to sleep in her cot, solo, at night without CIO methods?? When she wakes up in the dark she panics and she just screams and screams. Boob calms her down and the light being on.

The cot smells of me, the blanket she uses smells of me, getting her into it is always a struggle without waking her.

How do other breast feeding mamas do it? She has never wanted a dummy either. We can't keep bedsharing because her daddy hates it so much.

Can she get a duvet when she turns one in 2 thursdays time? Maybe that would remind her of our bed?
