How do you know when God's talking?

I know God has spoken to me before.
Lately I'm struggling with spiritual discernment though. I really want to go for a education and job but I'm unsure what to do. I have more than one opportunity. Prayers would be appreciated or friendly advice.

A lot of times, it’s either I hear the same thing over and over in different ways... things that would seem coincidental, but I can feel it in my spirit. When he’s actually speaking words to me, it sounds like my own voice, but I didn’t think it. If that makes sense. And most times, I hear it repeat. Sometimes, I will get this urge to write and I just write and write and when I’m done, it’s a word that God has spoken to me. Or sometimes I’m praying and I will start taking out loud something I’m hearing in my head. I also get dreams/visions. All of this has developed over a period of time. I’ve had to really talk to God and ask him to show himself to me. I was very “dense” at recognizing his voice at first. I didn’t realize that he was trying to speak to me so frequently and that a lot of what I had been hearing all along was him, I just thought it was coincidence or just myself coming up with these thoughts or feelings. You know it’s Him when there’s something about a particular response in your head that you just can’t shake. For me, I can tell it’s Him telling me to do something or comforting me when I have this undeniable feeling of “yup, that was God, not my own heart/mind/conscious.” It’s just this overwhelming yet secure feeling of knowing it wasn’t me just trying to answer for myself.
I hope and pray He gives you timely direction on where you want to be in life. He will come through for you, just be patient and keep your faith, even if it’s as small as a mustard seed❤️
