Watery discharge

Thin watery liquid discharge I though I was starting AF today and it didn’t come so I’m technically a day late; also felt my cervix and it’s super smooth and soft (squishy like) not hard and ripened like it usually it during period. Could this be a sign or how does cervix feel in early pregnancy or could this be an ovulation day and not know? How do you check if cervix is sitting high or low?
