Cramps at 7dpo advice

I had period cramps a couple days before I tested like I always normally do before my period. I didn’t care to test bc I suspected my period was otw bc of the cramps. I also had light spotting before my period was due. I ended up testing a day after my period was late and got a bfp ! So from my experience yes the cramps are very similar.
