Pregnant with POTS??

Question

Is anyone else Pregnant and have POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) I’m 11w2d pregnant with my first and not really sure what to expect. I had my first really bad dizzy spell/black out while pregnant today and it freaked me out just a bit! Just looking for advice or input:) ￼

I do. My first pregnancy, I had a couple pots flares in the first trimester but after that I felt better than I ever had, no pots symptoms. This pregnancy, the pots flares have been rougher. I have passed out a couple times already and had trouble getting my heart rate down. Hoping it goes away like it did previously. Good luck mama

I have POTS as well as mast cell activation disease which can make the POTS worse. I’ve already had two episodes which were worrying to me but so far everything seems ok with my little gummy bear. I also have a 2 year old, and despite my medical issues she’s perfectly fine and that pregnancy was by most definitions very normal. I think your body will strive to really protect the baby unless it becomes a life or death situation. 
My OB last time said my daughter had plenty good blood flow to the placenta despite my low blood pressure issues so I felt better about that. They check for that when the placenta is a little more developed.

Pots mama here. My last pregnancy was rough as far as my pots symptoms went for the first 12 weeks, after that I felt a lot better- better than I normally do. And my first year postpartum was the best year I've ever had pots wise- not a single flare up for a whole year!
This time things are going the same so far. I'm 9 weeks and really struggling and hoping for the same relief at 12 weeks. The difference this time though is that I came into this pregnancy in the worst flare up I've ever had (I've been practically bed bound since october).
