Someone help me please??

So I had my IUD removed January 25th but my doctor said to be careful because as soon as it comes out I could get pregnant. Ok no problem. We decided to use the pull out method and whatever happens happens. Well my period was due the beginning of February and never showed. I started feeling sick all the time. I took one test that I thought maybe had a faint line and that was it. I have a history of miscarriage so I was afraid to test more, get excited, and then start bleeding. So here we are almost a month later and I’m still getting faint lines and the digital says not pregnant. What does this mean?? Did I just skip that first period?
