Itching

I’ve had some itching down there all day & just noticed some redness tonight. I’m not sure if the redness was been caused from irritation of me itching it or because of something else. I’m not having a lot of discharge, nor is it similar to what it’s like with a yeast infection. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do or what might be wrong?
